When and where is the Allan Shedlin Memorial Golf Classic?

9:00am Registration

9:30am Brunch

11:00am Shotgun Start

12:00pm Lunch on Course

4:30pm Cocktails & Dinner Buffet

5:00pm Honoree Program and Awards Presentation

What are the directions to Fenway Golf Club?

Directions to Fenway Golf Club (for GPS use), 384 Old Mamaroneck Road, White Plains, NY 10605. 

 

From New York City - West Side: Henry Hudson to Cross County Parkway East. Follow Cross County Parkway to the Hutchinson River Parkway North, to Exit 22 Mamaroneck Road.  At stop sign make a RIGHT.  Go to second traffic light, make a RIGHT turn onto Palmer Avenue (Rt. 125). The club is approximately one mile to the LEFT.    

From New York City - East Side: Major Deegan North to Cross County Parkway East. Follow Cross County Parkway to the Hutchinson River Parkway North, to Exit 22 Mamaroneck Road. At stop sign make a RIGHT.  Go to second traffic light, make a RIGHT turn onto Palmer Avenue (Rt. 125). The club is approximately one mile to the LEFT. 

What is the attire for the day?

The dress code is golf attire for the classic. Pants, blazers and sundresses for the Cocktail Reception & Program.

Where does the money go that is raised at the Classic?

The Allan Shedlin Memorial Golf Classic donations will support the mission of the American Cancer Society as we save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

 

The American Cancer Society is the largest private funder of cancer research in the United States, with more than $4.6 billion invested in the search for new cures. Research funded by the Society has laid the groundwork for virtually every major breakthrough in cancer prevention, detection and treatment seen in the last six decades. Through the years, 47 scientists funded by the Society have earned the Nobel Prize for their findings. When we began, only a quarter of all cancer patients achieved 5-year survival. Today, more than 2 in 3 will reach this milestone. Through the years, 47 scientists funded by the Society have earned the Nobel Prize for their findings.
